Students have many opportunities to participate in various extracurricular science and technology activities. In 1996, our students established the Architects Association of Guangdong University of Technology, which is an outstanding academic association of students with a long history. The Architects Association of Guangdong University of Technology has organized the Zhujue Cup Guangdong Province Architectural Design Competition, and the Fast Design Competition of Three University in Guangzhou for more than 10 years, which have become two student design competitions with wide influence in China. The Architects Association of Guangdong University of Technology has its own magazine “Zhujue”, which has been published for 12 issues. We organize the Academic Science Festival every year, which attracts students to participate actively. Students’ works are presented in the campus, which has become an unique scenery.
